AMENDMENTS REVIEWED BY BOARD
The following Amendments were
reviewed by the Board, at the meeting
held by the Board January 10, 1976.
AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE IV OF THE
CONSTITUTION
RESOLVED: THAT Walker and Angelina
Counties be, and the same are hereby,
transferred from the Southwest Texas
District No. 7, and placed in the foll-
owing indicated districts:
1. WALKER COUNTY - In Central Texas
District No. 4
2. ANGELINA COUNTY - in Northeast
District No. 6,
and Article IV of the Constitution
is hereby accordingly amended.
RECOMMENDED BY THE BOARD OF MANAGERS
FOR ADOPTION.
AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE UIIA OF THE BY-
LAWS
RESOLVED: THAT Article UIIA of the By-
Laws be, and the same is hereby, amend-
ed by adding the following language
thereto after the first sentence of
said Article:
"Upon presentation to the State Secre-
tary of itemized, detailed expense
accounts for expenses incurred toward
organizing new S.A.R.Chapters in Texas,
the State Organizing Secretary shall be
entitled to reimbursement for reason-
able expensed incurred by him in a
total sum not to exceed $300.00 in any
one annual term of office"
RECOMMENDED BY THE BOARD OF MANAGERS
FOR ADOPTION.
AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE XUI OF THE BY-
LAWS
RESOLVED: THAT SECTION 1 OF ARTICLE
XII OF THE BY-LAWS BE, AND THE SAME
IS HEREBY AMENDED BY ADDING A SUB-
DIVISION THERETO DESIGNATED (e), WHICH
SHALL READ AS FOLLOWS:
"Delinquent dues paying members shall
not be eligible to participate in an
annual or special meeting of the State
Society, unless such delinquency is
cured at least SIXTY (60) days before
the date of such State meeting as
shown by the records of the State
Secretary."
RECOMMENDED BY THE BOARD OF MANAGERS
FOR ADOPTION.AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE XI OF THE CONSTI=
Resolved: That Article XI of the Consti-
tution be, and the same is hereby,amend-
ed by deleting the therefrom the second
sentence and.substitution in lieu there-
of the following Language:
"A copy of the proposed new Constitution,
Change or Amendment thereto shall be
provided in waiting to the State Secre-
tary, to the President and Secretary of
each Chapter in the State not less than
thirty (30) days prior to any annual or
special meeting of the Society at which
time the same is to be considered; such
copy shall be addressed to such Chapter
officers at their last known mailing
address as shown by the records of the
State Secretary and notice shall be
complete and perfected by the deposit
of said copy in the United States mail,
postage paid, addressed as aforesaid.
RECOMMENDED BY THE BOARD OF MANAGERS
FOR ADOPTION.
AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE XXIII OF THE BY-
LAWS
RESOLVED: That Article XXIII of the By-
Laws be, and the same is hereby, amend-
ed by deleting all verbage following
the semi-colon after the word "Society"
on the third line in the first sentence
of said paragraph, and substituting in
lieu thereof the following:
"A copy of the proposed new By-Law,
change or amendment thereto shall be
provided in writing to the State Secre-
tary, to the President and Secretary of
each Chapter in the State not less than
thirty (30) days prior to any annual or
special meeting of the Society at which
the same is to be considered; such copy
shall be addressed to such Chapter
officers at their last known mailing
address as shown by the records of the
State Secretary and notice shall be
complete and perfected by the deposit of
said copy in the United States mail,
postage paid, addressed as aforesaid.
RECOMMENDED BY THE BOARD OF MANAGERS
FOR ADOPTION.
AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE V OF THE CONSTI-
TUTION.
RESOLVED: THAT the new office of"Senior
Vice President"be, and the same is here-
by created and Section 1 be, and the
