However, I am in trouble again. Don't know why, only I
guess it is mostly because things are so mixed up with my
family, anyhow I neglected to call my father up or to go to wish
him a happy New Year. He is very hurt. Says all I care about is
my inlaws. The whole trouble between my father & I is my
stepmother. It is such a rotten mess, Nickee.
Went to Novena tonight. Golly ([[3]] but it is miserable &
wet out. After church we stopped at Vincents & had a piece of
his birthday cake. I gave him a tie just a little rememberance -
Don't think people should be born so close to Christmas.
Tomorrow is little Joeys' birthday. One year old & hasn't the
time gone by! Hope his father will be able to see him soon. As
for his uncle, that goes without saying.
Worked until six o clock tonight. One of the girls was out
so we had some extra work to get out. Your father worked late
also. The weather was so bad your mother came & picked us up
with the car.
Gosh, it is ten thirty already. I want to put my hair up in
curlers before I go to sleep. Tomorrow night, we may go to see
Mrs. Sacco. Don't know for sure & I don't want to go over there
looking like raggedy Ann with strangley hair. Incidentally [[4]]
sweetheart, I'm glad you like my hair. Maybe you do because you
love me. Perhaps my pause attracted you, but I'm afraid that
