Master of Music with Major in Piano
Before becoming a candidate for the degree Master of Music with a major
in piano, the student must perform from memory before a faculty jury a con-
certo (three movements) and a program representative of undergraduate rep-
ertoire if he is not a graduate of NTSU in piano.

repertoire must consist of material which the candidate has studied since be-
coming a graduate student.
Master of Music with Major in Organ
Before becoming a candidate for the degree Master of Music with a ma-
jor in organ, the applicant must perform from memory before a faculty jury a
thirty-minute program representative of undergraduate repertoire if he is not
a graduate of North Texas State University in organ.The following courses are required:

Master of Music with Major in Voice
Students wishing to major in voice must meet the following requirements
to qualify for admission to candidacy:
1. A repertoire as extensive as the requirements for the degree Bachelor
of Music with a major in voice at North Texas State University.
2. Performance from memory before a faculty jury of a program of at
least twenty minutes which will include representative selections in Italian,
French, German, and English, as well as an aria from an opera and one from
an oratorio. Detailed instructions for the audition should be obtained from
the Coordinator of Voice prior to or at Registration. The student will be re-
quired to take without graduate credit the undergraduate diction courses in
those languages in which he does not demonstrate proficiency.
