A Dallas business firm today 3,000-pounds of
culture to Houston.

It all started about 8 years ago when Stewart Tijle
Company commissioned Seff !iedl, a noted German
sculptor, to create a piece called Sanctity
of Contract. It symbolizes the importance of man
keeping his word if the world and mankind are to survive.
Up until now, the scul ture has adorned
e front courtyard at the
Stewart Title office on North Central Expressway.
In recent weeks, the parent company of Stewart Title
moved into new offices in Houston. Plans included having
a duplicate of the Dallas original completed in time
for the formal opening ceremonies, but the mammoth copy
isn't finished yet. So executives at the Jallas office
got together and decided to loa\ sculpture to the Houston
firm, with the strict understanding that the original
be returned as soon as the duplicate is ready, which should
