Bigger and better in Greenvil
Behind Neil Agnes, vice president of manufacturing, is the production area in LPC's new
Greenville manufacturing facility. One of the best symbols of the
growth of Liquid Paper Corpora-
tion is the company's new manu-
facturing facility in Greenville,
Texas.
The new plant is "Texas-size "
with more than 170,000 square
feet of space. Production space
alone has more than tripled from
25,000 square feet in our Dallas
facilities to 85,000 square feet in
Greenville.
But the significance of that size
is most evident when the new
plant is compared to the facility
the company was using just 10
years ago. "Back in 1969, " re-
members Walter Bibby, LPC's
president, "we had just moved
into our first new building from
an old two-bedroom house."
That new facility at 9130 Mark-
ville in Dallas had 11,000 square
feet of office and manufacturing
space in 1969, less than 1/10 the
space in our new Greenville
facility.
In addition to our Greenville
plant, LPC today has modern
manufacturing facilities in
Canada, Australia and Belgium
We've grown. But we're not just
bigger. We're better, too.
Just as LPC's high-speed pro-
duction line ensures we produce
only the best quality correction
fluid, new equipment in our Green-
ville facility will enable us to pro-
duce the very best typewriter rib-
bons.Continued
