l'\ of the Maypearl community near Waxahatchie.

though he was snared in high-line wires^/j
The plane burrowed
itself deep into the hard, packed earth—and
sizable chunks of dirt were hurled hundreds
of feet from the crash. The plane is of the
type that will seek a new world speed record
during the National Air Show ft September first
Witnesses are A.D.Ingram—on whose farm the
crash occurred— and J.M.Porter. Porter says •
his attention was attracted to the plane by
an explosion in the air; he watched the pilot
bail out and\the plane fall. ^
