SHE WALKS AWAY

After a week at North Texas State College in
Denton, the school's    "Ifirst Negro
undergraduate says she has been -- as she puts
it --"fully accepted as another student."
Forty-one-year-old Mrs. I.E. L. Sephas, a
sophomore taking business administration, says

her role as a student has come about without
dissension, that students and faculty have been
unusually kind and helpful. Mrs. Sephas recently
won a federal court order directing the school
to admit her as its first Negro undergraduate.
