Lee Johnson, Bank Chairman of the First National Bank, unveils an architects model of the next First National Bank. Johnson says contracts n excess of ten-million dollars had been awarded to build the 18 story bank and office building. The 7th and Lamar streets new high rise will have a tunnel that connects to a sixth floor motor bank with parking for 500 cars.
The Special Collections Department collects and preserves rare and unique materials including rare books, oral histories, university archives, historical manuscripts, maps, microfilm, photographs, art and artifacts. The department is located in UNT's Willis Library in the fourth floor Reading Room.
