Script from the WBAP-TV/NBC station in Fort Worth, Texas, covering a news story about a two alarm fire in an apartment building in the 33rd block of Douglas street in Dallas' Oak Lawn section. Ernst Beecken says he lost everything in the blaze as another tenant is helped away from the building. F. T. Mize was burned on the back trying to get out of the building. The worst injuries were suffered by Mrs. Betty Scott, 27 in whose apartment the fire is thought to have started. Two firemen were also injured. The blaze caused $20,000 worth of damage.
