for the council's okay to a pact which would
involve Fort Worth's swapping some territory with
Everman, in southeast Tarrant County. Each would
de-annex, then annex, in the swap designed to
provide better service to the areas and attract

The Fort Worth city council okays the payment of
one-million 200-thousand dollars as its share of
buying free use of the Dallas-Fort Worth turnpike
from Oakland Boulevard to downtown Fort Worth.
The total cost will be 2-million 800-thousand
dollars, to be paid by city, county and state.
The city has no trouble coming up with the money
-- bond funds already have been approved. Turnpike
