heed of horses clattering down to the swimming pool
at the Dallas Marriot Motel. The cow-girl in the

The horses are cutting
horses, a dyed-in-the-wool, gym-dandy working horse,
and the whole bit it to plug the National Cutting
Horse Futurity, which will gallop into Dallas early

Cutting horses are
used on the range to out out individual cows from
the herd. Most of them are quarter-horses, and under-
go intensive training to learn their craft. They are
intelligent, gentle, and hardy,and cattlemen swear by them.
