Script from the WBAP-TV/NBC station in Fort Worth, Texas, covering a news story about an armed robbery at the Arlington Heights A&P Grocery Store just before 9pm; a masked and armed man later identified as Charles Ernest Eaves carjacked the wife of an employee who had arrived to pick up her husband forcing her inside the building and taking money from the cashier cage, fleeing just as police arrived. Shots were fired, two more officers joined the chase, and the by then wounded thief was tracked by a police dog from the sheriff's department and captured.
