Deputy Lum Lewis says the moonshine was sold in
e Mason-.jars. Looks real smooth, doesn't
it?
The deputies arrested 51 year old L.D. Shine, who
was discovered, sound asleep, about 30 feet from
the still. Shine was later taken before a Justice
of the Peace.NEGROID

After whacking away with the axes, the deputies
remove parts of the still to be used as evidence.
Faulkner says the way to tell good moonshine from
bad is to shake it and watch the beads. He says
this is good stuff. But all that shaking seems
