riage of Miss Margaret Vivian Cole of Brownwood to Eugene

The announcement came as a
surprifte to most of her close
friends who supposed that Mr.
Kaltwasser was in love with a girl
in his home town. It was learn-
ed however that his pretending
to be in love with the home-town
girl was only a farce a part of
the plans to surprise completely
their friends with the announce-
ment of their coming marriage.
When refreshments were served
the guests found miniature year-
books on their plates. Inside the
book were pictures of Miss Cole
and Mr. Kaltwasser with the Miss Margaret Cole who will
words "Margaret and Eugene become the brde of Mr Kaltwag.

Once there was a contented lit-
tle green frog; then a woman
came into his life. Said lady being
none other than Miss Cora Fow-
les bugology student. This cold-
hearted young lady was on a field
trip looking for specimens. This
was not one of her many flirta-
tions but was truly in the interest
of science. But it's the man who
pays.
The little frojj was an easy vic-
tim for this man-chaser for she's
caught her man before. She bot-
tled him up in a test tube with
some nice green water plants but
did not consider the fact that lit-
tle frogs need air too. (At least
that 'air frog did). After carry
ing him about in a bottle for the
remainder of the field trip she re-
turned to the science building
where she was informed that she
had become a murderess. For
WusBle had passed on. No longer
wus he alive. He wus dald.
This little froglet was named
Wussie for he 'wus' but he ain't
no more. After a bit of dutiful
weeping she promptly forgot the
affair for what's one guy's life to
her. She's killed a million.
But in memory of this little
froglet we wish to dedicate the
following poem:
What a queer little bird the frog
are
Him ain't got no tail at all
