Sunday afternoon at a recep-
tion honoring Mr. and Mrs.
Jack Davis on their golden
wedding anniversary. TTae re-
ception was held at the First
Presbyterian Church.
In the receiving line with
Mr. and Mrs. Davis were their
two daughters, Mrs. W .Ross
Leaid. Kansas City, Mo., and
Mrs. J. D. Jimeraon of Carth-
age. Other relatives here for
the occasion were Frank Ko-
minek and children. Jane and
John, and mother. Mrs. Frank
Kominek, all of Crosby; J. D.
Jimeraon and children, Phil-
ip. Johns K. Judy, Jane and
LeAnn all of Carthage; and
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Leard and
children, Denise, Jack Davis,
Alison and Joe Glenn, all of
Portland.
Mr. and Mrs. Davis have
nine grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren and all
were present except one
granddaughter.

In Galveston
Announcement was made
this week, of the marriage of
Mi*s Pearl Ann Gereaue and
Perry C. Rich May 25, at Gal-
veston. The bride is the
daughter of Mrs. Helen Ger-
eaue of this city.
Mrs. Rich is employed at
John Sealy Hospital in Gal-
veston, and Mr. Rich, who is
in the U. S. Navy, is serving
aboard a submarine.
