from Germany to spend the
Christmas holidays with her
parents. Miss Hatch is in her
second year of teaching school
at a U. S. Army base school
near Idar-Oberstein, Germany.
She will leave for her return
trip Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wrobliske
and son, Jay, visited in Hous-
ton with relatives during the
Christmas weekend.

Wedding Held
December 18
Miss Marilyn Gail Butler of
Waco became the bride of John
Kelly Norvell Jr. of Houstoo
December 18 in a ceremony in
Waco.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and l(frs. TUmoo B. Butler
6f Waco and the groom is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. John Kelly Nor-
vell of Aransas Pass.
The double ring vows were
taken in a ceremony at the Trin-
ity Full Gospel Tabernacle with
the Rev. D. L. Summers of-
ficiating.
The following wedding music
was rendered by Leonard Lon go
Jr. and Mrs. Larry Ausmus
which consisted of the numbers
“The Lord’s Prayer", “More”
and ‘ Impossible’'. The groom
sang “Til There Was You”.
The candlelight setting for the
ceremony consisted of baskets
of white gladioli and mums and
burning white tapers in candel-
abras.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a candle-
light crepe over peau de sole
trimmed in beaded re-embroid-
ered lace. The gown was styled
with long lantern sleeves and a
chapel-length train.
Her waist length veil of il-
lusion fell from a juliet cap of
beaded lace. She carried a
cascade bouquet of feathered
carnations centered with orch-
ids.
Mrs. Leonard LongoJr.,sis-
ter of the bride, was matroo
of honor. Bridesmaids were
Mrs. Larry Ausmus, sister of
the groom, Miss Sue Johnson
and Miss Chan Orns. Miss La-
nae Summers was junior
bridesmaid. Miss Ann Jahnke
was flower girl. They wore
empire styled avocado dresses
of miramist over peau de soie
and carried long stemmed yel-
low roses.
Doyle Barnett served the
groom as best man. Grooms-
men were Jay Scheumack, Leo-
nard Longo Jr. and Gary Goss.
Paul Jahnke was ringbearer.
The bride’s mother wore a
blue crepe dress with blue chif-
fon sleeves. The neck, cuffs
and waist were accented with
beaded trim.
The groom’s mother wore a
matching coat and dress of taupe
accented with a beaded neck.
Her accessories were brown.
Following the ceremony, a
reception was held at the La
Quinta Inn. The bride’s table
was centered with yellow roses
accented with greenery. Silver
appointments were used. The
bride’s cake was a three tiered
