Sheldon students win at U.I.L. academic competition
Fourth and fifth grade teachers
and students from Sheldon
Sohool traveled to George West
early Saturday morning, May 5,
to compete in the U.I.L.
academics.

Jerrie Abel, Kathleen Cantu,
Emma Ulasingame, Linda Bal-
lard, Priscilla llegna and Joann
Militello.
EXCELLENT KIDS for the month at ShekJon/Blaschke School were announced last week. The students

Women's Shelter
provides service
in Ingleside area
The Women’s Shelter of Cor-
pus Christ i provides services to
victims of family violence from
Aransas Pass Ingleside and the
surrounding area in San Patricio
County.
The shelter aceepts collect
calls 24 hours a day from victims
of violence at 881-8888. This hot-
line is answered by individuals
trained in assisting victims of vio-
lence. Victims will be provided
with emergency shelter or
counseling services as needed.
The Outreach counselor serv-
ing San Patricio County is Sylvia
O’Reilly. She is available in this
area one day a week to provide
individual counseling sessions
with victims, to help victims
through any necessary legal proc-
edures, and to provide informa-
tion about family violence to area
residents. She may be reached at
the 881-8888 number for more
information-er-asslatanoe.
