ics department with the Art department were hostesses to
two Hundred women who are attending tho Lecture week.
The affair iv stylo show art exhibit and tea was given in
the parlors of the Girl's Hall Thursday afternoon.
Burnya Mae Moore and Mrs. Mary Locke were in charge
of the exhibits. They were assisted by Miss Arledge.

Oil paintings were exhibited by
Misses Earline Foster and Louise
Moscr. Miss Vera Rabcr had sev-
eral of her works to exhibit but
because of her illness she was un-
able to have them completed for
the exhibit.
Eugene White had several wa-
ter colors shown. These were or-
iginal several being painted at
his home in California. Misses
Williamson and Settle had batik
work to show. The regular col-
lege art classes showed pastels.
Pajamas were modeled by Miss-
Visitors to the Leturcship from
Kansas and the central states were
entertained in an informal recep
tion by the Heart' of America club
in Chambers Hall parlor yester-
day afternoon

Wichita Kansas president of the
club introduced the students from
the central states to the visitors
and a fliort program of musical
numbers was given.
The college quartet sarig three
numbers. Herbert Hroadus from
Wichita Kansas is second tenor
