Two lAyear old youths were arrested
on burglary of a motor vehicle charges
after they allegedly broke into Rodney
Phillips car near the Spur » bridge

Phillips told officers a cassette stereo,
tapes, a tow chain and water pump were
stolen from his vehicle He also reported
he had noticed a vehicle parked near his
car around the time of the theft
Police said they located the vehicle
and talked to the two men-tn it Phillips’

the cassette player was found in the

call but the pumper
malfunctioned. Station 2
firefighters then were
called to the scene.

from the McNair
Volunteer Fire Depart-
ment responded to a
house fire at 7424 Ber-
dinler early Friday. ,
According to a
spokesman for the fire
department the house suf-
fered extensive damage.
Cause of the blaze is
unknown but the case is
under investigation

value of each type or class
for equalization purposes.
Blair said.
"These people will be
highly qualified and ex-
perienced appraisers, in
all types of property, and
we urge everyone to assist
them in doing the best and
fairest job that is possi-
ble,” Bi air added. ■

Patty Hearst Writing Book About Her Life
NEW YORK (AP) — Newspaper heiress Patricia
Hearst, who served a prison sentence after being kid-
napped by a terrorist group, plans to publish a book on
the incident, Doubleday & Co has announced.
The publisher said Miss Hearst has been working on
Eyery Secret Thing” in collaboration with author
Alvin Moscow, who wrote the best seller “Collision
Course” about the sinking of the Andrea Dorja.
Moscow also was the ghost writer of Richard Nixon s
“Six Crises."
Doubleday said Miss Hearst, who now is married to
her former bodyguard Bernard Shaw app has a child,
chose her book's title from a passage in Ecclesiastes
