wood wll) co-operate In a series of
Sunday evening services, arrange-
ments for which have been com-
pleted by the Pastors Association
The First Baptist, First Methodist
First Christian. First Presbyterian
and St. John's Episcopal congrega-
tions will unite In these evening
worship programs, each church
conducting its own Sunday morn-
ing service during the month.
During the warm weather, the
pastors believe, tbe people will ap-
preciate the union services at thr
evening hour. The. singers of the
various churches will be grouped
in one large choir for each aervlce
and tbe sermon will be delivered
by the pastor of some chnrch other
than tbe one acting as host to the
worshippers. The program for the
live churches Is as follows:

at her borne at Hot Wells on Sat-
urday from 7 to 9, the occasion be-
ing the fifteenth birthday of her
daughter. Sarah. Lawn croquet
furnished much excitement for the
young guests after which i they

the pretty birthday cake with its
lighted tapirs was admired. After
the fun of extinguishing tbe caud-

The tdembers of the Self Culture
club and their husbands were en-
tertained at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. W. T. Ball with a delightful
Japaneses garden party. Forty-
two. played on tables arranged on
the lawn midst a setting of gay
colored streamers, and bright col-
ored Japanese lanterns, pleasant-
ly whiled the evening. In tbe dim
distance of tbe garden soft strains
of Hawaiian music and tinging by

John Humberson lent an air of en-
chantment to the affair.
