It's free and it's fun it's
HPU Phest and 2000 students
are expected to be in attendance
Friday and Saturday on the
grounds of Howard Payne. The
third annual concert festival was
started by the Student Union
Board and is coordinated by the
office of Student Life.
"The planning stages be-
gan soon after last year's festi-
val" said Student Activities co-
ordinator Kristi Simpson. The
result can be seen on stage this
weekend.
Simpson elaborated "The
atmosphere on Friday night will

The Box Office opens to-
day for HPU Drama's spring
production Once Upon a Mat-
tress by Rogers and Barer.
Once Upon a Mattress is a de-
lightful musical comedy based
on the Princess and the Pea
fairy tale and starred Carol
Burnett in the original Broad-
way production. Performances
will be April 2 3 and 4 at 7:30
p.m. and April S at 2:30 p.m.
at Northridge Baptist Church.
Performances are free to HPU
faculty staff and students but
reservations are encouraged by
calling 649-8516 between 1
and S p.m. Monday through
Friday.
