As a United States citizens the right to vote is funda-
mental to most people. This right has been fought for and pro-
tected by generations of Americans. The people of the United
States alone have the authority to choose who is their leader
and representative in public office. If a voter does not vote
he forfeits the ability to affect change and power reserved only
in a free democracy.
