A four-act Bohemian play
“Slechetne Srdce”

High School auditorium Tues-
day night by the following
students of the St. Mary’s Se-
minary of LaPorte: T. Valen-
ta, L. Miculka, J. Kopecky, A.
Dujka, B. Holub, and P. Gn-
drias. The play, which was
fairly well attended, was a
success in every particular,
each actor performing his
part in a most pleasing man-
ner. There were also special-
ties between acts which were
splendidly rendered. The ef-

Mrs. Josephine Nastoupil,
aged 76 years, 10 months and
19 days, died at the home of
her son Carl in Sealy Tuesday
morning at 9 o’clock. Deceas-
ed had been ill the past year
of cancer of the stomach.
Everything that loving hands
and medical skill could do
was done, but death relieved
her, of all earthly pain. ^.Oj
The remains arrived here

MRS. STULKEN
The funeral of l^rs. H. L.
Stulken, who died Sunday,
was held from f the family
home Tuesday morning at
9:30 o'clock with burial in
the Hallestsville City Ceme-
tery. Rev. A. H. Falkenberg,
Lutheran minister of Moulton,
who officiated, held services
at both the home and grhve.
Rev. Falkenberg paid a high
tribute to the deceased. The
funeral was one of the larg-
est ever seen here and there
were many pretty flowers,
which was evidence ; of the
high esteem in which Mrs.
Stulken was held.
Pallbearers were as fol-

Korges, W. C. Bonorden, Hen-
ry Pagel, A. Ji Hill and Chas.

The barn of O. J. Woytek
living on Rt. 7, was complete-
ly destroyed by fire last Sat-
urday morning about 6:30
o’clock. All corn and other
feedstuff in the barn was
consumed by the flames. Some
insurance was carried.
