County Clerk J. F. Bozka and
family attended the funeral of Mrs.
Mrs. Ella Judd, of this city, aged
74 years, 2 months and 27 days, pas
sed away Thursday, January 3rd, at
6:30 p. m. at the home of her son,
Gordon Judd.
Funeral services were held at the
family residence Saturday afternoon
at 1 o’clock and interment was made
in the Willow Creek Cemetery.

Mrs. Wm. Zander passed away Fri
day night at her home in Shiner at
the age of 80 years. Funeral serv-
ices were held Sunday afternoon at
2 p.nr. with interment in the. City-
Cemetery.
The deceased is survived by four
sqns, Adolph, Gus, John of Shiner
and Emil of Temple; three daughters
Mrs. Harry Tietjen, Mrs. John Beh-
len and Mrs. Chas, Krane. Her hus-
band preceded her to the grave some
19 years ago.

son-Mont Home Demonstration club
had its regular monthly meeting at

The meeting opened with a few
songs with Miss Della Pfluger ns
leader. Twelve members includ-
ing two new members were present.
The most interesting discussions
and leaflets were given by Miss
Pfluger on “Beautifying our sur-
roundings,” and other subjects.
