2 relating to transferring the Office for the Prevention of
3 Developmental Disabilities to The University of Texas at Austin and
4 renaming the office the Office for Healthy Children.
5 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
6 SECTION 1. Section 531.0202(b), Government Code, is amended
7 to read as follows:
8 (b) The Department of Aging and Disability Services is
9 state agency and niy ar] abolished on a date that is
10 within the period prescribed by Section 531.02001(2), that is
11 specified in the transition plan required under Section 531.0204
12 for the abolition of the department [stator], and
13 that occurs after all of the department's [stt age' or
14 eet-it--y-!s] functions have been transferred to the commission in
15 accordance with Sections 531.0201 and 531.02011[+

20 SECTION 2. Chapter 67, Education Code, is amended by adding
21 Subchapter E, and a heading is added to that subchapter to read as
