Can An Easter Bunny Swim?...
That was the question Saturday when 114 kids came out to the
Odem pool to find eggs that the rabbit had hidden under the
water. According to Joni Kurz, director of the pool, over 500
eggs were put in the pool with each one filled with three pen-
nies and water to keep them from floating. Pictured above:

giving God's love a chance. This act
of reaching out is not to be done in
an attitude of judgement, but rather
of grace. We're proud of our
church, our fellowship...the strong
commitment...and we want to share
with out friends.
"Bring A Friend Sunday" is part
of a district-wide celebration, with
most congregations celebrating two
weeks ago. So far, attendance was
boosted by 34 percent, and not all
numbers are in. Odem delayed the
celebration due to spring break.
For more information on how
you can be apart of "Bring A Friend
Sunday," call Reverend Melissa
Smith at 368-9187. The church is
located at 1301 Hailsey in Odem.
