where they will wialt for awhile
with Mrs. Burn's sister and her
husband, Mr. and Mrs. .Jim
Bean. After that they will fly to
New York and from there to
England where they wljl visit
his mother.
Mr. and Mrs. Charm Whit;
tenburg are fixing up their
kitchen with beautiful whit?
metal cabinets and a double
sink. Also a hot water heater.
They already have an electric
kin at the Briley home Thurs-
day night.
On our last trip to Brown-
wood we enjoyed having lunch
with our good friend, Mrs. Edna
Honea. We also saw another
good friend, Mrs,.Horace Rey-
nolds, who lives with her.
Wet planned big to attend the
63th wedding anniversary of
Mr. and Mrs. Will Oraday at
Indian Creek Saturday, Dec. 31.
Friday 1* seemed that'rain and
mud would Interfere. Saturday
morning things were In a whirl
at our house. The Bellches werq
on me that this was the day for
the anniversary. I had slept on
my. rights. It was too late. Mrs.
Dwyer told, me the next day
that she got ready and went
down to the road and waited
about an hour for me. 1 haven’t
got over It yet.
Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Smith
went to Ridge Sunday to visit
with Mr. and ’Mrs. Glen Egger
at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Jay Wilkins. The Glen Eggers
were leaving Monday for San
Angelo where Glen will work pn
a ranch. •

bock. Finally considerably af-
ter eleven they left. Orandad
took BUly and went with them
as far as the mall box ,to get
the mall and to see that they
got through the mud. I took
myself down to the chicken
house to carry water from the
tank (the windmill would still
not turn over), to put out feed,
and to gather the eggs. Back
at the house I started a late
dinner. Just as I was getting
through washing the dishes,
about three o’clock, It dawned
daughter, and son of Anton
came to spend Christmas with
her father, Joe Lee Dehosier,
who is still quite Ul In the home
of his brother, Jno. Schooler.
Selby Walters, a brother-in-law.

visited Mr. Schooler during ttar
holidays.
Mrs. J. W. Weathers returned
Saturday after spending the
