ayk of Priddy for re-election to
the place of State Representa-
tive from the 104th Representa-
tive District composed of Mills
and Comanche Counties, sub-
ject to action of the July Demo-
cratic Primary. His name will
be found In this paper’s poli-
tical Announcement, column.
' Mr. Oromataky was elected to
this position at the special elec-
tion held last February, and has
served the district well and.
faithfully since that time. The
experience gained at the last
session of the Texas Legislature
will , be a great asset in his serv-
ing the dlstrict ln the future.
Mr. Oromataky is a stock-
farmer at Priddy, Mills County,
and is well known both In Mills
and Comanche Counties.

here Monday and Tuesday
of this week. Many of the
stores, of Goldthwaite closed
for the beys’ fat steer Judg-
ing and auction, which start-
ed Tuesday at 14# p. m.
* In the boys! auction, a calf
belonging to Billie Joe Beckham
was bought by Norman Dufen
at 37 cents per pound, and is
being served at Durenvllle Cafe
In steaks. About twenty hogs
were auctioned and brought 18
to, 23 cents per pound. Ten
lambs-brought from 34 to 25
cents a Pound, and five capons
75 to SO cents.
In the auction of donated
livestock to apply on paying
out the Agricultural Building,
$335 was realized. Another ‘$100
has been donated, and a grain
drill that was donated will be
auctioned off within a few days.
Willis Horton donated a calf to
the building fund, which was
sold to Daha Saylor for $i$S.
Young Saylor will feed the calf
and show’ It next year. Avery
Poe gave a gilt that brought
$66 to the fund, and Owen Bros,
gave another that auctioned
