Weather Ktireau’s Weekly Forecast
Says Normal Temperatures
Will Prevail.
Washington Sept. 11.—Generally
fair this week the country over was
the prediction of the weather bu-
reau last night. The weekly forecast
says:
There are no indications at the
present time of a disturbance in the
South Atlantic waters.
In the United States the coming
week will be one of generally fair
weather and normal temperature
over the greater part of the country.
Occasional showers however are
probable along the Gulf and South
Atlantic coasts. The next barome-
tric depression of importance to
(ross the United States will appear
in the northwest on Wednesday pass
eastward over the Middle West about
Thursday or Friday and the eastern
states near the close of the week. It
will be attended by local rains and
be followed by a change to cooler
weather over the Northwest and the |
^ ('ontral Valley.
Opening of School.
Kxaminations for entrance will be
held at the High school building
Monday and Tuesday until 12
O'clock. All examinations will be giv-
[ <*n at this building;. No teacher will
be at the South Ward school until
Tuesday at 1 o’clock. All who are
irregular are urged to he present at
this time. School will open for regu-
lar work Tuesday at 1:30. All are
urged to be present.
