Ooldthwalte. Texas
I left Ooldthwalte In 1918 and
have not really been there since
It was a pleasure to spent a
night there recently
I walked into Woody’s Drug
Store It had been a long time
but I recognised Woody
In walked Oscar Holland—a
very old friend of my father'a—

cousin of Nlta and Velma Cock-

school
Looked In the telephone book
and saw Ruby Cave’s name, also
another classmate. She had us
for breakfast
Called on Oeorgla Frtxxelle;
also saw and talked to Alta
Frtsselle -so much fun
Then as we were leaving and
stopped to eat downtown—I saw
another very sweet lady—Mrs
Dr Campbell 1 Just knew that
was when my husband would
say—"She looks so much young-
er than you.” I told her J knew
she had to be older than I by
some years but she looked so
young
My mother, a sister of Joe
Curtis, now deceased, saw the
town of Ooldthwalte laid out
She and my father. Oeorge Sea-
bourne. were both raised near
there. I started to school there
It vi| a in a way sad to see the
old school house fcone But after
all. time marches on: So you see
I have fond memories of Oold-
thwalte
- My very best and fondest
good wishes to my old friends
and relatives. —«*»
