Red Beans
According to an article In last
weeks Brady Standard, 25
pounds of red beans were on
their way to a couple of dis-
placed Texans In far-off New
Hampshire.
Waiting hungrily for the beans
are Clyde and Cecil Locklear,
brothers of Brady’s Jack Lock-
lear, Jubilee race manager. i
Clyde ia a trainer for Rey-
nolds Bros, of Fort Worth and
Cecil Is in New Hampshire with
a string of horses for O. R.
White. Jack took two mor*
horses up there recently and
heard his brothers* pitiful tale
of not being able to get any
Texaa red beans In New Hamp-
shire.
Jack came home last week and
on Tuesday of last week he
bundled up the beans and put
them in the mall.
The three boys mentioned in
the a bo red article are all sons
of Mr. and Mra C. Locklear of
Ooidthwaite.

tack. He was a former owner of
the Llano News paper. He owned
the paper when Ace first started
working there.
