Roswell Vaughn of Eagle Pass
promised support to Allred as did

Freeman Buford of Dallas, introduc-
ed as a life-long friend of Allred, re-
marked that a governor "should have

A price of five cents a pound for
niuttou lambs was paid in San An-
gelo Saturday by Roy Hildrexth, or-
der buyer to Roy Hudspeth, vice
president of the San Angelo National
Bank and vice president and general
manager of the Texas Wool and Mo-
hair Company for about 3,600, mut-
ton lambs to be delivered at Sonora
about December 20. Mr. Hildreath
says it is one of the best hunches of
lambs to leave Texas this year and is
the best bunch of lanths left in the
state. The lambs will be moved to Col-
orado feed lots. They were I corn be-
tween February 15 and March 15 and
come from the 35,000 acre Hudspeth
ranch lying in Sutton and Crockett
counties. 26 miles southwest of Son-
ora. Last year Mr. Hudspeth sold his
mutton lambs to Ike Brown of Abil-
ene who is rc|>orted to have maele SI
