The Methodist church of Sny-
der ha.>» decided to build a new
brick church to cost $15,000.
Committees have been appoint-
ed, and are already at work,
soliciting funds and arranging
other preliminaries to the start-
ing of tho work.
The building will be erected
on the present site of the old
building, and is to be modern in
every particular. We are in-
formed that the work will begin
'in the near future, and pushed
to completion.

Work Begins
On Light Plant
R. F. Brumback, manager of
the Snyder Electric Co., has ar-
rived from Ennis, and is super-
intending tlio work on the build-
ing for Snyder's electric light
plant. The company has secur-
I ed a plot of land from Lee John-
son, near his gin on the railroad,
and work has begun on the
foundation of the hnilding.
The machinery for the plant
has been shipped, and will be
here and ready to install within
six weeks.
Mr. Brumback informs us that
he will begin wiring the town
Monday, and everything will be;
ready to start the plant as soon!
as the machinery is installed.
Thus will another worthy
enterprise been added to those
already in operation in Snyder,
and let us give it a worthy pat-
ronage.
