Mrs. B. W. Mantooth told the
“how” of community missions, which
are the ways of working for those
needing material and spiirtual help.
There are three methods of finding
and supplying those needs: 1. Visits- j
tion; 2, material gifts; 3, holding of
meetings.
The “Heart” of community mis- j
sions is the most important because
all personal service thru W. M U j
should have as its heart, Evangelism, j
One who is not a Christian cannot
successfully take part in the spiritual
benefit of others.
The "hour” of community missions
is the time to work. The conditions
of the world proves to us that this is
“the hour” when our light must shine
to help a darkened world find peace. !
Mrs. Lamar Williams gave the
“henceforth” of community, missions
which gives new emphasis to our
thinking The war has made the
world so small that one who is not
a community missionary is not a
missionary at all. Our “henceforth”
depends on those workers who will
remember the Great Commission and
live as Jesus would have them.
Mrs. Mishoe led in prayer that the
women in our Woman's Missionary
Union will be more community-
minded this coming year.
After the program, the business
meeting was held. The nominating
committee made report on offeers
for next year: President, Mrs. D. L.
Aldredge; first vice-president. Mrs
D. Peters; second vice-president,
Mrs. Mozelle Willmon; recording
secretary and publicity chairman,
Mrs. Edna Mae McGill; correspond-
ing secretary and treasurer, Mrs. R.
H. Nabours.
The report was voted upon and ac-
cepted. Mrs. Billy Jo Roberts closed
the meeting with prayer.
I During the social hour following, i
1 ice cream and cookies were served
as refreshments.

last Saturday.
Mr. Ingram is confined to his home

attached to the bouquet contained
thirty-seven names and wished Mr.
Ingram a speedy recovery.
The lovely gift was enjoyed and
appreciated by Mr. Ingram for he
knows this kind and thoughtful deed
was done in a spirit of love.“You will
find, as you look back upon your
life that the moments that stand out,
the moments when you have really
lived, are the moments when you
have been enabled to do kindness in
a spirit of love to those round about
you and especially the sick, those in
