by care Gazette Friend Sid Wo In
close 25 coupons for jou which Is by
no means all we have but we want to
send a few In occasionally eo you will
know we are still on the hustle
We think It unnecessary to play strong
Just now as tho game Is young six-
teen more long dajs of grace which
wo extend kindly to the opposition
It has been very amusing to watch the
tactics of our friend Sissy the Idea
of appealing to tho people of the atate
of Texas to ote for Mr Peak because
ha Is a Fort Worth man born and
raised there What voes that amount
to If he was Is Fort Worth tho only
place In Texas that has produced a
man fit for the Oazette to Bend en this
trip It so why did not the Oazette
confine the race to genetlemen of Fort
Worth The fact Is tho Gazette and
Slesy Jupe have a different way of
looking Into these little matters blssy
Bold It was Port Worth and Qatesvllla
doing battlo If that bo true little
Gatcsvllle sitting back In the hills of
Coryell Is a dandy a little Japan
And poor little Jupo Is doing her best
to locate China In Tort Worth Now
Hid I dont belle e that Sissy meant to
for she well knows that jou are get-
ting a good share of the Notes of Fort
Worth and all the votes from Gates
vllle So It scemB that your town Is
more lojal to him than Mr Peaks Is
to him Wo all feel assured that Mr
Peak Is a nice gentleman and the
nbove referenco Is not made with any
feeling only that of kindness but It
seems Just Ilka It Is going to bo lm
liossibla for him to get ort on this trip
We would write mora bid but as tho
