Nearly all the bank failnrbs aro
due more to the raslf bBnlifiOj of
tho depositors than to tho banks
themselves Tho depositors be-
come uneasy and make a run on
the banks in consequeuco of which
tho banks aie forced to close
when theii tesuiities aud financial
condition aro as good as over In
times like this people should be
considerate When the depositors
make a wild rush and by so doing
close a bank that bank must at
ouco collect what is duo it This
hurts those owing tho bank and in
tie prudence In times like tho i
present it would bo belter if tho
people would deposit more money

Every man has his own peculiar
views on tho present financial
question but they aro few who
can comprehend the situation in
full To master the question one
must be acquainted with the con-
ditions of tho arious governments
carrying on commerce with our
government must be acquainted
with the history of money Its ma-
nipulations and the effects in tho
past that he may be able to fore-
see the result in the future must
know the commodities shipped
from this country as well as thoso
shipped to this conntiy It is a
deep question aud difficult to bo
understood It is almost one of
those questions that an experiment
is the only means whereby
toarrheata correct conclusion
What that experiment will bo no
one cau tell but in all probability
an experiment iill be made
