hen boats come in contact with power lines,
If the results can be fatal.
When you’re out on the water, be sure to
practice boating safety.
Steer dear of power lines. Always raise and stow
your antenna or mast properly when loading and
unloading your a aft.
Al Central Power and Light we work hard to
make sure our power lines are safe - and far out
of reach for most human activities, especially
around lakes and rivers. Yet remember tall boat
antennas and sailboat masts are a potential threat
to the people who use them.
That’s why it’s important to practice safe
boating tips. A little patience and good judgment
goes a long way.
Never try to move under a power line when the
clearance is in question! v. *
