Annie Belle Mills
ANNIE BELLE MILLS
Annie Belle Mills, age
95, passed away on Feb. 28,
in Pittsburg. She was born in
Glencoe, Lincoln County, NM
on Oct. 30, 1919 to Nelson and
Agnes B. (Coe) Bonnell. (The
Coe and Bonnell families were
early settlers in the Hondo val-
ley.) She married Tee S. Mills on
Aug. 12, 1939 in Alamogordo,
NM and moved to Kermit.
Ann lived in Kermit for 67
years before moving to Pitts-
burg. She accepted the Lord at
the age of 11 in Glencoe. She
was later baptized at First Bap-
tist Church at the age of 20.
She later joined Grace Temple
Church and that was her church
and church family until the end.
Her body moved to Pittsburg but
her heart stayed in Kermit. She
was active at Grace Temple as
a Sunday school teacher, joined
a ladies class and was involved
in the Keen-agers in later years.
She also volunteered carrying
lunches to Senior Citizens and
spent time visiting at the nursing
home. She thought it amusing
that later she was getting lunches
from the Senior Center and after
that living in the Kermit nursing
home.
For fun in Kermit the Mills
family played cards and domi-
nos with friends. After that she
played cards and games with all
her grandkids. She lived a good
life and was the happiest the last
few years playing Skip-Bo with
her granddaughter Whitney.
She is preceded in death by
her parents, seven brothers and
sisters, her husband of 44 years
Tee S. Mills and two grandchil-
dren: Cheryl Lynn McKinley
Glenn and Kyle Brenner.
She is survived by four
daughters: Barbara and husband
Earl McKinley of Perry ton, Judy
and husband Dan Lewis of Arte-
sia. NM; Mary and husband Ken
Willis of Sugar Land, Ginger
and husband Lanny Brenner of
Pittsburg, eight grandchildren:
Dan S. Lewis and wife Theresa
of Artesia NM; Duane Lewis
and wife Cheri of Paris, Michael
McKinley of Yukon, OK; Jenni-
fer Beech and husband Scott of
Houston, Jill Nesting & husband
Don of Houston, Russ Willis of
Houston, Kelly Simmons and
husband Michael of Flint, and
Whitney Brenner of Pittsburg.
She also had seventeen great-
grandchildren and eight great-
great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services are sched-
uled for 1 p.m., Mar. 6, at Grace
Temple Baptist Church in Ker-
mit, with Pastor Mike Elliott
officiating. She is to be buried
next to her husband in the Ker-
mit Cemetery immediately fol-
lowing. Pallbearers will include

Very proud of Johnna and Char-
ry for reaching the ultimate goal of
what raising a 4-H hog project is all
about!! They put a little more jingle in
their college savings! It takes a lot of
hard work to make it to this point!! And
no, not everyone makes the sale!! At
San Angelo - only the top three in each
class make it and in San Antonio I be-
lieve it is the top six.
