WSCS Has Talk by
Lieutenant on Africa
The W. S. C. S. met at the
Methodist Church Monday with
20 members present. Mrs. C. V.
Morgan had charge of the pro-
gram and brought the third mis-
sion lesson on “The Cross Over
Africa.”
Mrs. Morgan presented Lt. Eu-
gene Thomas, who has recently
returnel from Africa. Lieutenant
Thomas, with a keen sense* of hu-
mor, told of his visits to the larg-
est cities in Africa and of the
customs and manners of the peo-
ple, their way of dressing and
also displayed several articles he
brought from that country. The
society wishes to thank Lieuten-
ant Thomas for his very interest-
