GROUP 21.-A firing party traced from Fourteenth Street up the Cowen Alley past
Dr. Thorn's house toward the Miller Hotel on Thirteenth Street and recognized
as colored soldiers.

GROUP 24.-A part of the firing party which was recognized as composed of colored
soldiers, which had come up Cowen Alley from the direction of the post as far as
Thirteenth Street, goes up Thirteenth Street in the direction of Washington Street
firing at policemen Genaro Padron and Macedonio Ramirez, who are fleeing from
them, and hitting the hat of Macedonio Ramirez which was knocked off his head
by the bullet.
