The Texas Department of
Transportation announced that
work began Monday, December
11, 1995, to install 911 county
road signs.
Greg Clary with Gary Mowing

Gary said he plans to install the
first signs on FM 1702 at Indian
Gap and continue through the
county until aD roads are signed.
Work should be complete by

Chamber of Commerce ft
Agriculture will be Monday,
December 18th.
Everyone interested in joining
this caravan to tour Comanche and
see the beautiful Christmas lights
and decorations is invited to meet
at the Comanche Community
center at 100 Indian Creek Dr. at
6:00 p.m.
You may take your own car,
however, we will try to have a few
vans available fcr those who prefer
not to drive. Tour maps will be
available at the tour and may be
picked up at the chamber office
through December 22nd.

Holidays Closings
The area public schools have
announced fee following holiday
vocation schedules.
The Comanche I.S.D. will
ditmss at 1:00 on Friday,
December 15. They will resume at
their regular starting time on
Tuesday, January 2.
The Gustine I.S.D. will dismiss
at 12:35 on Wednesday,
December 20 and will resume
classes on Wednesday, January 3.
The Sidney I.S.D dismisses on
Wednesday, December 20 at 2:00
and resumes classes on
Wednesday, January 3.
Library Fund Reaches Goal
