INFORMATION ON Investigation of absent employees can be
ABSENTEES HELPS done much faster by the Employee Service
IN INVESTIGATION Section if your AVO includes all available
information about the employee.
Frequently, the absent employee's co-workers will be able to give
helpful information, such as location of employee, name of hospital,
or doctor's name.
The Employee Service Section of the Personnel Department conducts about
90 investigations each month. Any helpful information regarding an
absent employee will expedite the investigation and help to reduce
absenteeism.
RELIABILITY REVIEW Department 27-7 (Quality Control) personnel
PERSONNEL ASSIGNED assigned to Reliability Review Teams on B-58
flight status aircraft have been authorized
to wear royal blue caps with an "R" inscribed on the bill. Any infor-
mation you have about equipment or aircraft failure should be reported'
to one of these men at the earliest possible moment, so that investi-
gation and corrective action may be started.
As you know, each of us is responsible for making the B-58 as reliable
as possible.
REVISED STUDIES A revised edition of the TCU-Convair Manage-
PROGRAM ISSUED ment Club Studies Program has been distribu-
ted to club members. Formulated by the
club's Personal Development Committee, the pamphlet describes courses
which will lead to Certificates of Management, and to a Bachelor's
Degree in Management.
Incidentally, the schedule for TCU classes to be held at Convair this
Fall will be distributed around September 1.
MIM RE-SET The Management Information Meetings scheduled
FOR FRIDAY for Wednesday, August 26, have been re-
scheduled for Friday, August 28, in Confer-
ence Room 18, from 2:00 to 3:00 p. m. and 3:15 to 4:15 p. m.. Personnel
who were scheduled for the Wednesday meetings are to attend the Friday
sessions instead, at the same time designated on the original notice.
