husband Clare Evans today.
Plaintiff alleges that she was
married to defendant ou tho 10th
day of August 1392 and lived
with hira until February 1803;
that defendant h3d troated her in
ruiuh an unkind nod inhuman manner
as to render their living together
unbearable and that hIio sepirated
from him last February. Plaintiff
aVo allegen that aftor tho separa-
tion on the 10th day of December
lat defendant attacked her and
stiuek her violently and hiu since
that time applied opprobious
epithets to her with threats of vio
lenee and attacked aud struck her.
Plaiutiir also alleges that defend-
ant is a mau of vi iluat passions aud
ungovernable temper.
Light Guards Officers.
The Waco Light Guards held an
election last night. To fill tho
vacancy caused by the resignation
of Firnt Lieutenant Austin M.
Rogers Seeond Lieutenant J. W.
Speight was chosen and T. M. (Jog-
tollo was elected second lieutenant
to fill tho vacancy thus caused.
II. B. Snead was elected secretary
0-c3r Robinson was elected treas
urer and II. Stricklor was elected
eonespondtLg secretary. Tho com-
pany is in fine condition aud is
ablo to put up a very strong drill.
It will probably attend the inter-
Ntalo drill to bo held at Dallas in
the spring.

noon and will await the outcome of

Suddenly she became ill a physi

quickly to her relief and in a little

The train was in charge of Con-
