THE WORR OF
ANARCHISTS.
No'w'Alllged tKey Caused the
Holocaust at Paris in May.
Chicago June 24. The
Post -says today: According to
& story -which has reached Chi-
cago from Paris near Wash-
ington the terrible liolocaust
which wiped out over a hun-
dred lives at the French capi
tal Mav a. was the work of
anarchists thirsting for revenge
nnn. thet unoer classes of
France.
It is claimed that while the
official inquiry into the circum-
stances surrounding the catas-
trophe threw little light on the
6ause of the fire the secret
service department is working
on a clew that points to an
anarchistic conspiracy of stu-
tedous magnitude. It is said
the Paris detectives have not
only satisfied themselves that
anarchists were at the bottom
of the awful crime but that the
leaders who planned it fled to
America as soon as they had
een executed.
- A member of the French le-
gation at Washington is said
So be authority for the story.
Washington June 24. The
officials of the French embas-
sy here refuse to impart in-
formation concerning any con-
nection that the anarchists may
nave had with the holocaust in
the early part of May. Mr.
Le Fevre the first secretary of
the embassy .said tonight that
there had been no communication-
from his government
looking to the apprehension of
the alleged leaders of the out
rage who it is said have fled
to "America. This he thinks
would have been die case had
it been been believed such per-
sons were engaged in the af-
iair and had fled to this coun-

'8s7ed From the Horrors of Nervous Pros-
tration" by Dr. Miles" Kenrine.
COUGH does not always indicate
consumption. Mr. W. H. Palmer of
Watorlco Iowa traites: "I "was taken
with a Eorvgns stricture of the bronchial
lubes which developed into nervous pros-
tration I was so weak I could not sit up. I
got no sleep for days except when under the
Influence of opiates. For four months I suf-
fered agonies and prayed that I might die
and be at rest one
physician said I had
consumption for I had
a cough that gave me
no rest But a good
old physician whoso
medicine had failed
advised me to use Dr.
Miles' Hestorative
Nervine and I thank God that it has bright-
ened my days lengthened my life and saved
me from theborrors of nervous prostration."
