CARD 3
"Today, we are gathered here to do just that - honor our nation's veterans.
This includes men and women who have served here and overseas during
times of peace and war - many of whom have "given the last full measure of
devotion." To underscore the magnitude of their sacrifices, we are setting
aside this time to reflect on the origin, purpose, and significance of Veterans'
Day, which is Monday, November 11th.
Please stand for a moment of silence to honor the many who have served or
are serving today so that others might be free. We especially remember the
service men and women, who are now in harms way in the fight to end
terrorism in Afghanistan and Iraq.
PAUSE (COUNT TO 30) ("TAPS" will be played)
