Ann Ritchie, Thelma Youtz and

We’ve been a lot of places a lot of
times throughout the years but we
find we were in a new place recently
at the home of Rubye Dunaway.
Rubye writes — Dear Thelma.
Would you believe your Sunday col-
umn and picture are on my TV?
You know I can’t see very good and
I can’t read the paper much, so W. T.
made me a reading center. He got a
TV camera, put it on an arm, so I can
scan the newspaper or reading
material, or I can move the paper
and read it on a TV.
I still have to watch or read about
five or six inches from my eyes.
I can also see the pictures better.
Now I can read a little, when my eyes
will see.
Just thought you might like to know
you’re on TV. Rubye Dunaway.
-—You might know that ingenuous
W T. would come up with some solu-
tion to help Rubye see. An active per-
son. she has been an avid sports fan
for years. She was one of the most ac-
tive women in this area in Home
Demonstration Club work and
always likes to keep up with things
going on in the community. We hojw
she puts this column on her TV every
Sunday morning and for a New Year
Wish — Here’s hoping her eyesight
improves during 1986
