'94 Spring Enrollment Reaches
Second Highest Level in History
HSU's spring enrollment gained 61 over last year and is the
second highest spring number in history, according to Dr. Lanny
Hall, president.
HSU's spring enrollment is 1,884 compared to 1,823 in 1993,
according to Dr. Hall. The current enrollment is 3.3 percent
more than a year ago.
HSU's highest spring enrollment came in 1982 when 1,931
students signed for classes. This year's 12th-day total is the
highest since 1982 and is 233 more students than two years ago.
The overall full-time equivalent is 1,879, according to Dr. W.
Craig Turner, vice president for academic affairs. The full-time
equivalency is obtained by dividing graduate semester hours by
nine and all other by 12. Turner credited a continued strong
emphasis on student retention for the increases this spring over
last year.eiim(ingIWi " 19U 94.. ] OitielrL 2I8 29l9 U Class of 1944 50Ya Reunion ..IApil 14 1994
