was also present. All expressed
an interest In the plans for this
beautification of Mills County.

were, Mrs. Malcolm Jernlgan,
chairman; Mrs. John Berry,
Mrs. Pearl Hudson and Mrs.
Woodrow Boykin.

Give Program At
January Meeting
The Goldthwaite Home Dem-
onstration Club met at the
Show Barn, January 28, with
Mrs. Clint Smith, president,
presiding. The officers of the
club were in charge of the pro-
gram and each told of their
duties to the club. Mrs. H. J.
Leonhard gave the devotional
and was in charge of the recre-
ation.
Mrs. Wllda Echols. H. D. Ag-
ent, Mrs. Walter McFall and
Mrs. A. L. Reese attended the
Spring Planning Meeting at
Hamilton, January 21. ' The
Spring District Meeting will be
held at Burnet March 31.
The hostesses, Mrs. Inez Lev-
erett. and Mrs. Ernest Ince,
served delicious refreshments at
the conclusion of the program
to the eighteen members and
two guests present.
Next meeting will be at the
Show Barn, February 11, with
Mrs. Ollie Waggoner and Mrs.
Ellen Galloway, hostesses.

Air Medal Award
SPOKANS, Wash.—U. S.
Force Colonel Glen R. Dunlap,
son of Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Dun-
lap, Rt. 1, Mullin, Tex., has re-
ceived his sixth award of the
Air Medal at Fairchild AFB,
Wash., for air action In South-
east Asia.
Colonel Dunlap, deputy com-
mander for maintenance of the
92nd Strategic Aerospace Wing,
was cited for his outstanding
airmanship and courage on
successful and important mis-
sions under hazardous condi-
tions.
The colonel, a 1939 graduate
of Priddy (Tex.) High School,
was commissioned through the
aviation cadet program and
served during World War II. He
received his B. G. E. degree in
1966 from the University of Ne-
braska at Omaha and . also at-
tended the University of Okla-
homa.
His wife is the former Chris-
tine Blackmon.

and is presently a sophomore at Tarleton State College, Stephen-
ville, where she Is majoring in elementary education. Her fiance
graduated from Stephenville High School in 1966, and is now a
