Footwork Dance Christmas show
A Christina! Spectacular
Footwork Dance Studio is pre-
senting a show entitled “A Christ-
mas Spectacular” on Sunday, De-
cember 3 at 3:00 p.m. in the
A.C.l.S.D. auditorium located
just behind the Dairy Queen in
Rockport. The show has formerly
been know as the Holly Jolly Hoi-
day and for the past 3 years was
sponsored by A.C.l.S.D. adult
continuing education commun-
I ity choir. This year, however,
f Footwork, is producing the show,
™ making some changes in format,
and thus, the new name.

Boyles to speak Sunday
The show will still feature over
100 dancers from their studios
located at 638 E. Market in Rock-
port and inside Coastal Bend Fit-
ness Center at 2224 W. Wheeler
in Aransas Pass. There will also be
a group of carolers to present
some traditional Christmas favo-
rites. In the new format of the
show, the audience will follow
Santa while making his rounds on
Christmas Eve. An extended ver-
sion of the poem, “Twaa the Night
Before Christmas” will tell the
story as first Santa visits his toy
Vivian Boyles, recently
approved as an Assemblies of God
missionary on special assign-
ment with International Corres-
pondence Institute, will be guest
speaker at First Assembly of God,
417 N. Houston, Aransas Pass, on
Sunday, Dec. 3, 6:00pm, accord-
ing to Reverend Wayne Volz,
pastor.
Miss Boyles will be working at
ICI’s International Office in Brus-
sels, Belgium in the production of
video cassettes to be used at on
site teaching seminars, extension
seminars, resident Bible colleges,
and study groups. She will also be
instrumental in producing a
weekly program for the French
Assemblies of God, as well as the
current series of “World Alive”
missions telecasts.
In 1967, International Corres-
pondence Institue was developed
to coordinate the correspond-
ence courses being produced by
Assemblies of God missionaries
around the world. Within its first
two decades of operation ICI was
able to enroll nearly 6 million stu-
dents in 164 countries for studies
on five levels: Evangelism,
Christian Life, Christian Service,
Christian Ministry, and College.
Many of those courses are now
being produced on audio tape to
expand ICI’s outreach to the
illiterate. Radio and television
ministries are also important
parts of ICl’s ministry, and qual-
ified media technicians like Vi-
vian Boyles make these minis-
tries possible.
Through the Assemblies of
God’s Mobilization and Place-
ment Service (MAPS) program,
Miss Boyles has already worked in
Brussels as an administrative
assistant in ICI’s marketing de-
partment. She now returns tocar-
ry out full-time responsibilities in
video production. Her degree in
telecommunications combined
with her experience gained from
employment at three T.V. sta-
tions have prepared her for the
job.
Miss Boyles was saved when
she was 12, and has always had a
desire to travel, to teach, and to

minister to people. She feels all of
her past jobs have prepared her
for missionary work. “The Lord
has given me a burden for mis-
sions and especially for people in
Europe. He has given me a talent
in working in art, design, and
video, and 1 must use it for Him.”
The public is invited to come
and hear Miss Boyles on Decem-
ber 3, as she shares her burden for
effective media evangelism.

shop and is surprised to find
dancing Christmas packages and
wooden soldiers. Santa takes us
to the North Pole where we find
tap dancing reindeer and rock
and roll polar bears. He visits
carolers spreading Christmas
Cheer, a ohoir in rehearsal, and
finally lands in dreamland, where
the sugar plum fairies live.
This show has always drawn
large crowds in attendance and
with the new story line, Footwork
feels that it will be even more fun.
There will be something to please
everyone from rook and' roll to
traditional music, up, jazz, bal-
let, comedy, and special effects.
One added benefit is that this
show includes children from all
our surrounding communities,
Rockport, Aransas Pass, Ing-
leside, and Port Aransas, ranging
in age from 3 years and up. The
adult dancers and singers repre-
sent many different facets of our
community as well and they all
come together for this fun filled
afternoon. Truly a Christmas
Spectacular.
