Magic" Holiday Luncheon and Style Show this weekend with

Woman's Club style show,
The Aransas Pass Woman’s
Club will be presenting a holiday
luncheon and style show, MIS-
TLETOE & MAGIC, this Satur-
day, December 2 at the Rockport
Country Club at 11:30 a.m.
The fashions will be presented
by Fabrics, Etc. of Aransas Pass,
Dona of Sinton, Sundail and
Galatea of Rockport with models
from the area. Door prizes will be
given and Carolyn Conoly of KRIS
TV will be the moderator.
The tickets are #20 each and
include luncheon. They may be
purchased from any member of
the Aransas Pass Womans Club or
by calling Committee Chairman
Gloria Peer.
The proceeds will benefit the
various civic and chairitable pro-
jects of the Aransas Pas Womans
Club. There will be door prizes
given away.
* The Fourth Annual Chili By
The Sea Chili CookDff will be held
at the lngleside Beach Club on
Saturday, Dec. 2 beginning at 10
a.m.
This is a sanctioned cookoff
with points gained counting to-
ward qualifying for Terlinqua.
The show teams wil perform be-
tween 12 noon and 2 p.m. ’’The
People’s Choice”tasting and judg-
ing event will be from 3 p.m. to 5
p.m. There are three places and
trophies along with sanctioned
points for showmanship and ten
places and trophies along with
sanctioned points for cooking
chili which are needed to enter
showmanship. **
A trophy equal to that of the
first- place sanctioned trophies
will be presented to the winner of
the Media class and ‘‘People’s
Choice” chili will be at ,$ p.m.
There is no charge for admitt-
ance. Arts and Crafts booths are
invited at no charge. Food and
beverage will be sold by the Ing-
leside Beach Club members on
the grounds all; during the
cookoff. « • ,
This year Chili By the Sea is
benefiting the lngleside Historic-,
al Society which consists of a
